Peter joined Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank in 2010 as a Senior Residential Loan Officer.
Peter brings with him over 35 years of experience in the local real estate lending market where he has developed strong working relationships with real estate professionals and attorneys. His strong ties in our community and his commitment to outstanding customer service are unwavering. Prior to joining the Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank, Peter spent most of his banking career in various management and mortgage lending positions including those with former Newburyport Cooperative Bank, First Ocean National Bank, and Institution for Savings.
Whether new or decades old, Peter's customer relationships are rooted in his solid reputation as a trusted local lender and from the ease and accessibility he offers.
Peter earned a B.S. in Business Administration and Management from Bradford College;in 1980. Active within the community, he is a Corporator at the Anna Jaques Hospital, a member of Newburyport Chamber of Commerce, and an active member of Greater Newburyport Board of Realtors.
Peter lives on Plum Island with his wife Teri, twin daughters Olivia and Ashley, and their dogs Bentley and Jackson.
Christine Morency joined Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank’s Residential Lending team with over 10 years of mortgage lending experience.
Chris holds a strong commitment to customer service and building relationships with each of her clients. She enjoys assisting customers with each step of the lending process. Whether you are a first time buyer who has many questions on how the process works, or an experience home owner who is looking to downsize or upgrade, Chris’ guidance will make for a smooth experience.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time kayaking, cooking and relaxing at the beach. She is active within the community as well. For the last 11 years, she has committed her time to the MSPCA at Nevins Farm, Methuen, MA where she assists with the care of animals in need.
Steve joined Newburyport Five Cents Savings with over 30 years of real estate and sales experience and mortgage lending know-how. Living and working in the NH Seacoast Steve has earned the reputation of being dependable, accessible and trustworthy. Steve looks forward to fostering customer relationships and discussing lending options, which may include purchasing or building their dream home, refinancing their current mortgage, or simply accessing their home’s equity.
As a committed professional Steve provides outstanding customer service. Customer service for Steve begins with listening to his clients, assessing their individual needs and offering insightful solutions. Continued communication throughout the process is a top priority.
An active member of the seacoast community, Steve has an understanding of the financial culture and trends impacting his neighbors in NH. He is a member of the Dover Chamber of Commerce and has been a basketball and baseball coach as well as a past member of parent-teacher organizations in Dover schools.
He lives in Dover with his wife, Jayne and three children. In his spare time he enjoys water sports, basketball and other outdoor activities with his family. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Hampshire where he played varsity baseball.
Jeff joins Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank with over 15 years of residential lending experience. The skills and knowledge he has obtained over the years will assist new borrowers in demystifying the loan process and streamline the process for existing customers.
As a Mortgage Operations Specialist with extensive experience in customer service, he is highly trusted with confidential information and efficiently manage multiple priorities. Whether helping a First Time Home Buyer through the steps of buying their first home or working with a customer who wants to build their dream home, Jeff understands the importance of communication and is eager to lend his expertise through the application process.
Jeff grew up in Salem, MA, attended Salem High School and graduated Salem State University. He and his family have called Salisbury, MA home for over ten years. He is excited for the opportunity to give back to the surrounding community that has been so kind to him, and his family.
Travis joined Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank with over 10 years of residential loan origination experience. Throughout his time as a loan originator, he gained an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of mortgage lending. He takes pride in outstanding communication throughout the loan process.
Travis strives to present financing options in a manner that makes it simple for you to make an informed decision. He takes the time to listen in order to gain an understanding of your financial goals. As a Residential Loan Officer, he has three primary goals to accomplish; to answer all of your questions about mortgage financing, to simplify your home financing experience while providing you with a high level of service, and to build trusting relationships with you and your family for years to come.
He not only works in the community, but he also lives here. Giving back has always been one of his passions through volunteer efforts which include Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Hampshire for several years along with supporting several other nonprofit organizations.
Travis received his bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire in Sociology and Justice Studies. He resides in Dover, New Hampshire and is the new father to a very energetic son named Chase.
