We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Loan Administrator based at our Hampton, NH location. 

The Administrator role is responsible with assisting the Commercial Loan Officers and Commercial Lending Operational staff with a variety of administrative, customer service and loan servicing functions. Provides exceptional customer service to Commercial Loan Officers, borrowers and vendors while working in compliance with Bank policies and procedures.  

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; however other duties may be assigned as dictated by business need:   

  • Providing administrative support to the commercial loan officers in the loan documentation process, ensuring that necessary documents have been collected throughout the pre-closing process.  
  • Ensuring the effective coordination of the commercial loan closing process, including document preparation, verifying accuracy of notes with approved write-up and commitment letter.  
  • Preparing all loan set up forms in coordination with the Commercial Loan Servicing staff.  
  • Coordinating all loan advances/disbursements; ensuring all required documentation has been received and all transactions coordinated effectively with the Commercial Loan Servicing staff.  
  • Communicating effectively and professionally with customers, attorneys, appraisers, co-workers, team mates, etc.  
  • Ensuring conformance to all customer service standards related to the business line and servicing areas in the administration of commercial loans.  
  •  Effectively handling, responding to and monitoring customer relations issues to ensure successful and prompt resolution.  
  •  Identifying, monitoring and tracking missing documentation. Following up with appropriate individuals to ensure documents are received as required.  
  •  Demonstrating an understanding of business deposit products and services to provide accurate information to prospects and customers and better identify and respond to opportunities to cross sell.  
  •  Performs additional duties as requested or assigned.    

 Qualifications: Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent in addition to a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a professional office environment, preferably within a commercial lending related function (i.e. banking/financial services, attorney or real estate broker). Detail orientation, ability to work successfully with deadlines and time constraints, ability to learn basics of the Bank’s products and services including loan products, self-motivation and decision making skills required. Working knowledge of general banking and lending concepts and principals in addition to experience with and understanding of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and Outlook). Professional demeanor and professional maturity required for working closely with customers, employees, vendors and members of the Board of Directors.
