We have a new opportunity based in our Newburyport Operations Center location for a:
Summary: Reporting directly to the Loan Servicing Manager, this position is responsible for performing a variety of loan servicing functions in connection with commercial loans, quality control, workflow supervision, assisting and coaching loan servicing staff while providing exceptional customer service to our external and internal customers.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following; however other duties may be assigned as dictated by business need:
1. Assists all loan servicing employees, answering questions, providing guidance for decisions and direction while understanding all team member roles to act as a backup if necessary.
2. Performs, supervise and monitors quality control for department, ensuring procedures are in place and performed in a timely manner.
3. Performs, supervises and monitors quality control for all document scanning in the department, ensuring procedures are in place and performed in a timely manner.
4. Monitors and ensures accuracy of rate changes for adjustable rate loans and makes corrections if applicable. Changes index values on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
5. Supports Loan Servicing Manager during audits and exams by preparing and uploading appropriate information and files as requested.
6. Prepares and maintains job specific procedures.
7. Prepares response to all Subpoena/Title issues for the Loan Servicing Manager to approve and submit.
Minimum of high school education or equivalent and minimum of 3-5 years prior customer service/clerical and/or administrative experience preferably within a banking, commercial real estate or loan processing environment. Demonstrated experience with staff and functional supervision strongly preferred. Prior experience with automated systems as well as loan documentation helpful. Demonstrated expertise with Windows applications (Word and Excel), Microsoft Office, and document imaging systems preferred. Detail orientation, organizational
skills, ability to work successfully both independently and as a team member as well as with internal and external customers required. Effective problem /conflict resolution skills preferred.
