 Due to our continued growth, we are currently recruiting for a experienced Operations Representative. The Ops. Rep. will perform a variety of accounting functions as well as processing daily ACH files and incoming and outgoing wire transfers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; however other duties may be assigned as dictated by business need:  

1. Demonstrates understanding of and commitment to the Bank’s ongoing mission, vision and core values.   

2. Performs customer service functions for Operations.  

3. Reviews and mark ACH exception items and prepares return file.   

4. Reviews and mark Check exception item and prepare check return file.  

5. Performs weekly ODP processes.  

6. Performs daily card settlement functions.  

7. Processes Wire transfers.  

8. Processes ACH Cash Management files.  

9. Reviews Vision reports.   

10. Processes mortgage discharges.  

11. Monitors daily reports relative to exception transactions and principal pay downs; make appropriate corrections.  

12. Monitors and ensures accuracy of rate changes for adjustable rate loans and performing corrections if applicable; changes index values weekly.  

13. Scan and indexes new loan files and/or loan documents to the image system.  

14. Respond to Loan credit disputes.  

15. Provides back-up support for the following functions:  

a. Cash Management  

b. Returned checks processing  

c. Process U.S. and Commonwealth of Massachusetts reclamation.   

d. Monitoring and maintaining negative accounts  

e. Contacting customers and verifying suspicious activity  

f. Performing charge back processing duties  

g. Performing compromised card process   

h. Providing quality control of card orders, changes and submissions  

i. Completes research.  

j. ACH exception item processing  

k. Consumer Loan processing function  

l. Process/ backup the payment and billing process for Forced placed Insurance.  

m. Payment of Real Estate Taxes.  

16. Completes G/L account reconciliation including resolving reconciling items.  

17. Interacts with and responds to questions or issues from external Auditors.  

18. Responds to loan credit disputes.  

19. Demonstrates understanding and compliance with Bank policies and procedures as well as regulatory guidelines as applicable to the position.   

20. Each employee is responsible and accountable for actively engaging and participating in the bank’s ongoing coaching process, on a minimum of a quarterly basis, through participation in one on one coaching sessions, touch-points, and monthly staff meetings.   

21. Collaborate with colleagues as a positive, enthusiastic and proactive team member.   

22. Performs additional duties as requested or assigned.  


Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent in addition to a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a professional office environment, preferably within a banking/financial services organization. Working knowledge of Debit card functions, ACH rules and regulations, and general ledger accounts. Detail orientation, ability to work successfully with deadlines and time constraints, ability to learn basics of the Bank’s products and services, self-motivation and ability to work well both as an individual contributor and as a team member required. Demonstrated experience with an understanding of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and Outlook). Professional demeanor and professional maturity required for working closely with customers, employees, vendors and others are required. Additional exposure to the following is helpful but not required:
