Text banking and telephone banking
Simple account access, even when you need a lower-tech option.
Newburyport Bank also offers text banking and telephone banking for customers who want quick account access without opening the app. These services can help you check balances, review recent transactions, and stay informed about account activity.
Text Banking
With text banking, you can text 454545 to receive balance and transaction information for your designated accounts, and set alerts for balance updates, weekly notifications, and cleared transactions. To enroll, log in to online banking, select Additional Services, then choose Mobile Banking and alerts and designate your primary account.
Telephone Banking
Telephone banking gives you access to account balances, cleared items, direct deposits, and loan information by phone at 877.462.3136.
Need to delete your online banking access?
If you want to delete your online banking and mobile app access, Newburyport Bank provides a process for requesting deletion of associated digital banking data, including data tied to Bill Pay, Money Management, and account transfers. Before requesting deletion, customers are advised to download any eStatements they want to keep and review any pending Bill Pay items or recurring transfers that will be affected. Requests can be made by email at servicecenter@newburyportbank.com or by phone at 844.639.3483.
