He was most recently involved with Heading Home, a Boston-based nonprofit dedicated to ending homelessness through its housing-plus-services model. He is looking forward to becoming engaged in the Greater Newburyport community in his new role. Brandon also holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Salem State University.

“I’m excited to join Newburyport Bank and be part of an organization that truly values community, relationships, and thoughtful growth,” said Belanger. “I look forward to working with customers and colleagues to support projects that strengthen our local economy.”

Belanger resides in Salem, New Hampshire, with his wife, Emily, and their two-year-old son, Brayden. The family is excited to welcome their second child this June. Outside of work, he is a devoted Boston sports fan who enjoys skiing, golfing, unwinding with video games, and above all, being a dad.
