Newburyport Bank recently welcomed Curt Murray to the bank as Vice President, Business Banking Officer. Curt is based in the Hampton, New Hampshire, branch. He brings more than 25 years of financial services experience with a strong background in business banking, commercial lending, and relationship management.
In his new role, Curt will focus on building and expanding commercial banking relationships and working directly with business owners to understand their financial needs. He will provide lending, deposit, and treasury management solutions while working across business lines to support comprehensive banking relationships.

Throughout his career, Curt developed expertise in commercial and small-business lending, credit, portfolio management, and business development. He has more than 20 years of direct experience building trusted relationships with business owners as he helped them identify financial solutions that supported their goals.

A Portsmouth resident for 19 years, Curt has strong ties to the New Hampshire community. He is a current member and former seven-year trustee and board member with Portsmouth Elks Lodge #97. He also currently serves on the Credit Committee of the Regional Economic Development Center (REDC) which supports entrepreneurs and small businesses throughout the region.
Curt studied organizational leadership at Southern New Hampshire University, liberal arts and sciences at Middlesex College, and American Sign Language at Northeastern University. He enjoys boating, fishing, and lobstering.
