Newburyport Bank, an affiliated bank of River Run Bancorp, MHC, is pleased to announce the appointment of Christina St. Onge as Vice President, Business Banking Officer, based at the bank’s Amesbury office. St. Onge brings 37 years of banking industry experience to the role, with a deep record of serving small business clients and building lasting relationships within the communities she serves.
In her new role, Christina focuses on supporting small business clients through customized lending solutions, helping business owners access the capital they need to grow and succeed. She will establish new business relationships through networking, community engagement, and referrals, while maintaining and deepening existing client relationships as a trusted financial partner. Christina also works closely with branch teams and business partners to ensure a seamless client experience and serves as an active presence at chamber and community events throughout the region.

A dedicated community leader, Christina serves on the Methuen Retirement Board and is a member of the Methuen Women’s Business League, an advisory member of Debbie’s Treasure Chest, Treasurer of Methuen 300, and is transitioning to the Alumni Board of the Northern Essex Community College Foundation, having previously served on its Foundation Board. She is a former president of the Methuen Exchange Club and volunteers with the Methuen Festival of Trees.

Christina’s contributions have been recognized with numerous honors, including the 2022 YWCA Tribute to Women award, the 2023 Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women Commonwealth Heroine designation, and the 2023 City of Methuen Community Foundation Award. St. Onge holds an associate’s degree from Northern Essex Community College and pursued further studies at Salem State University and UMass Lowell. She resides in Methuen, MA.
