Newburyport Bank Welcomes Scott Beattie as Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer

Beattie brings 17 years of industry experience to his new role.

“Scott’s deep commercial lending background and commitment to relationship-driven banking make him a strong addition to our team,” said John Garozzo, Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending Team Leader. “We look forward to the value he will bring to our business customers in the Portsmouth area and across our footprint.”

In his new position, Beattie will cultivate relationships with business owners, presenting banking products and services designed to help their businesses grow and prosper. He will also focus on providing excellent customer service to new and existing customers while generating new loan and deposit opportunities for the bank.

Beattie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wheaton College. He resides in Stratham, NH, with his wife Emily, his children Drew and Emery, and their two rescue dogs, Ziggy and Charlotte. An avid golfer and pickleball player, he is also an active volunteer coach for his children’s youth sports programs, including football, basketball, and softball.
