Carrying Out Our Mission One Donation at a Time
Newburyport Bank Charitable Foundation was founded in 2003 to carry out the Bank's mission of improving the quality of life in the communities we serve. The Foundation is supported solely by Newburyport Bank.
The focus of the Foundations's grant making centers around key areas which have the greatest impact in providing much needed services, support, and resources to low-to-moderate income individuals and families and vulnerable populations within the bank's footprint.
Organizations applying for a Foundation Grant must be a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Priority will be given to those organizations which align best with the Foundation's goal of strengthening our communities by addressing areas such as:
- Affordable Housing
- Financial Literacy
- Food Insecurity
- Health and Wellness
- Veteran Support
Since the Foundation's inception, the Bank has contributed over $4 million and the Foundation has made awards of more than $3 million.
