We also offer a $500 credit toward your closing costs. It’s yours when you complete an online homebuyer education and counseling course. Attend at your convenience.

Lift Up Homeownership

The Lift Up Homeownership program awards funding to members on a first-come, first-served basis to provide first-generation homebuyers, as defined by FHLBank Boston, and/or people of color who are purchasing their first home with down-payment and closing-cost assistance. All homebuyers must have incomes up to or below 120% of the area median income to qualify.

Housing Our Workforce (HOW)

This program offers grants to help homebuyers with down-payment and closing-cost assistance. To qualify, buyers should be earning above 80% and up to 120% of the area median income.

Equity Builder Program

If you’re a first-time homebuyer and you earn up to 80% of the area median income, you may qualify for grants to help with down-payment, closing cost, and home rehabilitation assistance, as well as homebuyer education and counseling.
