The Newburyport Bank Charitable Foundation has donated $2,500 to Habitat for Humanity ReStores Southeastern, NH. The donation will used for the purchase of supplies for the construction of multi-family veteran housing. Habitat for Humanity ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials, and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price.
Newburyport Bank, through its Charitable Foundation, is honored to partner with Habitat for Humanity and its ReStores as part of our ongoing commitment to community revitalization and sustainable development. They recognize that access to affordable, safe housing is fundamental to creating thriving communities where families can grow and succeed. Through the Bank’s support, they are investing in initiatives that not only provide homes but also empower individuals and families to build a stronger future.
“For years, Habitat for Humanity has supported the housing needs of our veterans through its Veterans Build Program,” said Jim McCarthy, President and COO of the Bank. “It’s a noble initiative to provide housing and serve those who have so dutifully served us. We’re very proud to support them.”
