The Newburyport Bank Charitable Foundation has donated $4,000 to Seacoast Eat Local in support of their Summer and Winter Farmers’ Market. The Winter Market typically runs from November through April in Rollinsford and Stratham, NH. The Summer Market runs from May through October in Durham, Dover, Exeter and Portsmouth, NH.

Newburyport Bank, through its Charitable Foundation, is honored to support this essential work. As part of its broader mission, the Bank committed to addressing food insecurity and supporting local economic sustainability. The Bank’s investment in Seacoast Eat Local reflects our belief that strengthening local food systems benefits not just individual families but entire communities.

“The natural bounty produced in our area is second to none,” said Jim McCarthy, President and COO of the Bank. “And nothing illustrates that better than Seacoast Eat Local Farmers’ Markets. From fruits, to vegetables, meats and more, our local producers bring their fresh offerings to the Markets, ensuring good and healthy eating for our community. We are so fortunate to have them.”
