Home Blog Newburyport Bank Charitable Foundation Donates $5,000 to the Prescott Park Arts Festival

In its ongoing mission to serve the needs of local communities, the Newburyport Bank Charitable Foundation has donated $5,000 to the Prescott Park Arts Festival of Portsmouth, NH. The donation is to support Community Showcases. Each summer the Arts Festival hosts a variety of groups and organizations to showcase their talents on the Park’s Wilcox main stage.

Newburyport Bank is deeply committed to enriching lives through access to the arts, understanding that creative expression strengthens the social and cultural fabric of a community. By supporting initiatives like the Community Showcase, the Bank, through its Charitable Foundation, helps break down barriers to participation in the arts, nurtures emerging talent, and promotes community pride through shared cultural experiences.

“The Community Showcase offers audiences an opportunity to experience a variety of local acts in a welcoming outdoor setting,” said Bank President Jim McCarthy. “There’s nothing like going to Prescott Park on a beautiful summer evening with family and friends and enjoying the performances of local acts. It’s fun and builds community and we are proud to support the showcases.”
