Newburyport Bank donated $15,000 as a sponsor of Exeter Hospital’s Spring Bloom Gala, presented by the Bauman Family Foundation. This event was held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Abenaqui Country Club in Rye Beach, NH fulfilling its goal of raising funds and awareness to support pediatric programs and services, including the expansion of pediatric mental health services.
Exeter Hospital is well known for its core pediatrics serving more than 17,000 babies, children and adolescents in the community. Newburyport Bank is proud to support this essential work, recognizing the lasting impact that early, high-quality pediatric care has on the health and future of our communities. The Bank remains committed to helping ensure that all children have access to the care they need to grow and thrive. Supporting institutions like Exeter Hospital is part of Newburyport Bank’s broader mission to invest in the well-being of every generation—strengthening the communities we serve today and laying a brighter foundation for tomorrow.
“We are extraordinarily fortunate to have Exeter Hospital in our midst and benefit from the incredible pediatric services they provide,” said Jim McCarthy, President of Newburyport Bank. “There is nothing more worrisome to a parent than a sick child, and perhaps nothing more comforting than knowing Exeter Hospital is there for them. We’re proud to support their efforts and the wonderful Gala.”
