Newburyport Bank Donates $3,000 to Camp Resilience Fundraiser

Home Blog Newburyport Bank Donates $3,000 to Camp Resilience Fundraiser

Newburyport Bank is proud to announce a $3,000 donation to Camp Resilience in support of the 2025 Swim With a Mission event, taking place June 27 and 28 in Gilford, NH. The sponsorship reinforces the Bank’s ongoing commitment to organizations that serve Veterans, First responders, and their families.

Swim With a Mission is a two-day fitness challenge led by U.S. Army Special Forces Green Berets and Rangers. The immersive event gives participants a taste of real-world military training while raising awareness and support for the cause.

The funds will help provide no-cost therapeutic retreats for those who have served our country and communities. Hosted by Camp Resilience, the retreats promote mental health and healing through outdoor activities, peer-to-peer counseling, and practical life skills workshops.

“Supporting our Veterans and First Responders is something we care deeply about,” said Bank President John Burcke. “We’re honored to contribute to an event that not only challenges participants physically but also raises critical funds for those who have sacrificed so much for us.”
